Associate Professor Trevor Cullen runs the Journalism department at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia.
He has received university and national tertiary teaching awards and two national research grants (ARC and OLT). Prof Cullen’s research areas include journalism education, health reporting, health communications and media coverage of infectious diseases.
This website contains his peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, news articles and conference papers on these topics. He has been described as one of the top researchers in Australia on media and HIV, and he is the first journalism educator in Australia to become a life long National Teaching Fellow.
